Teflon ptfe cable is a type of cable that uses polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the insulation material. PTFE has excellent high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and insulation performance, allowing Teflon cables to provide stable and reliable electrical transmission in extreme environments.
Introduction to Teflon Wire
Teflon high-temperature wire is a wire made of polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as fluoroplastic, as insulation, wrapped around metal conductors. Teflon has characteristics such as non stickiness, heat resistance, sliding resistance, moisture resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. However, there are differences between the temperature resistance of the iron gas dragon wire and the material of the outer packaging.
There are roughly three types of outsourced materials
PTFE: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non stick coatings can be used continuously at 260 ℃, with a maximum usage temperature of 290-300 ℃, extremely low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, and good chemical stability.
FEP: FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene Copolymer) non stick coating melts and flows during baking to form a non porous film, which has good chemical stability and non stick properties, and can be used at a maximum temperature of 200 ℃.
PFA: PFA (perfluoroalkylated compound) non stick coating, like FEP, melts and flows during baking to form a porous film. The advantage of PFA is that it has a higher continuous usage temperature of 260 ℃, stronger stiffness, and is particularly suitable for use in the fields of anti adhesion and chemical resistance under high temperature conditions.
Performance and application of Teflon high-temperature wire products
Product performance: It has excellent corrosion resistance and is almost insoluble in any organic solvent. It can resist oil, strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, etc; Has excellent electrical insulation performance, high voltage, low high-frequency loss, no moisture absorption, and high insulation resistance; It has excellent flame resistance, aging resistance, and long service life.
Product application: In the electronics industry, it can be used for temperature compensation wires, low-temperature resistant wires, high-temperature heating wires, aging resistant wires, and flame-retardant wires; In the household appliance industry, it can be used for internal wiring of air conditioners, microwaves, electronic disinfection cabinets, rice cookers, electronic hot water bottles, electric heaters, electric ovens, electric fryers, lighting fixtures, etc.
