Selecting the appropriate cable requires considering several key points:

1.Power Matching (Cross‑section): The conductor cross‑section (in mm²) determines the current‑carrying capacity and must match the pump power.

Example: For a 3 kW submersible pump, a 2.5 mm² cable is recommended. For two 11 kW pumps, a cross‑section of not less than 16 mm² is recommended.

2.Depth Consideration (Water Pressure Resistance): The operating depth of the submersible pump determines the water pressure the cable must withstand. Confirm that the selected cable meets the required water pressure or depth rating.

3.Application Environment (Material Selection): Choose the most suitable material based on the pump's working environment.

Normal clean water: Cost‑effective PVC or general‑purpose rubber cables are usually suitable.

Sewage / corrosive environments: Priority should be given to oil‑ and acid/alkali‑resistant materials such as CR or PUR to ensure long‑term reliability.
