Products Description

Plastic insulated control cables refer to cables with copper or aluminum conductors and insulation layers made of plastic materials such as polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride.
It is suitable for automatic control or monitoring systems, electrical instrument connections, and other occasions with rated AC voltage of 450/750V and below. Mainly used for transmitting power signals and control signals to ensure the normal operation of the power system.
It is often made of high-quality oxygen free copper and environmentally friendly PVC, which has characteristics such as acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, moisture resistance, and mold resistance. According to different usage scenarios and technical requirements, plastic insulated control cables can be classified into various types, such as oil resistant, flame retardant, and high-temperature resistant.

Features and advantages

Technical indicators

Maximum working temperature: PVC (polyethylene) insulation does not exceed 70 ℃; Crosslinked polyethylene insulation at 90 ℃; Low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin at 70 ℃; Low smoke halogen-free flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin at 90 ℃ and 125 ℃.
Minimum ambient temperature: PVC sheath, fixed laying -40 ℃, non fixed laying -15 ℃.
The allowable bending radius of cables: for non armored cables, the minimum is 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for copper tape shielded or steel tape armored cables, the minimum is 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.
